May Ipsy Bag Unboxing

In this post I wanted to tell you about the May bag from Ipsy. This month's theme is jet setter, great one for those who like to travel.

The first product is Urban Decay's 24/7 Glide on Lip Pencil + BONUS Revolution High-Color Lipgloss. In this little booklet you get the white lip liner and two shades of the new lipgloss collection. I have tried the lip pencil and it is 5/5, it is very helpful to keep your lipstick or lipgloss from smudging. I have not tried the lipglosses because I do not like sticky lip products.

The next thing is Luxie Beauty Tapered Blending Eye Brush 205. I still have not used it, I'm planning on looking up a tutorial of some sort because I'm not very knowledgeable in the eyeshadow department. The bristles feel gentle and smooth.

Then, I got BellaPierre Cosmetics Waterproof Mineral Gel Eyeliner Pencil in black. It's not very quality. It smudges a lot and you have to wait for it to dry up. It would be great for sensitive eyes because it would not irritate.

Next one is Bare Republic Naturals SPF 30 Mineral Face Sunscreen Lotion. Who doesn't need an SPF lotion? It feels light and smells good. I would recommend it if you are in store for one.

The last product is NUXE Reve de Miel Facial Cleansing and Make-Up Removing Gel. I love this one! It smells really good, leaves your face feeling clean, but not dry, removes waterproof make-up, and doesn't hurt your eyes. I give it 5/5.

Also, I got a product with my points. It is Vincent Longo Cosmetics Starlette Gel Eye Stain in Ambrosia Mist. I haven't tried it yet too. I swatched it and it comes out looking like a lipgloss. So for this one, you would have to prep your eyelids with a base and do one coat at a time to build up the color. It has a little bit glitter in it.

That's it! Hope you enjoyed, have a beautiful day :)

MAC Wash and Dry

Have you guys seen Mac's last collection Wash and Dry? I love the looks they came out with! I went to the store recently and got a lipstick and a blush.

The lipstick I got is in Tumble Dry. It is a sheer nudish orange shade. I wear it with simple make up to draw more attention to it.

Second item I got is the powder blush. I got it in Crisp Whites. Okay, this product changed my make up routine. I usually do not wear blush at all because no matter how many color correcting primers I use or how good of a coverage my foundation has, my cheeks blemish through the it all. But since this color is orange based, it hides my redness and adds a little color to the face. It looks very warm and goes well with contouring in warm medium brown shade.

Here are the swatches:

How lovely are these colors??

Artist Palette by Anastasia Beverly Hills

Today I want to make a post about an eye shadow palette I got several days ago. It is Artist Palette by Anastasia Beverly Hills.

It does say on the website that's it's a limited edition. I have been using the Naked 3 palette for more than a year now. I was never much into eye shadow (I think because I didn't know much about the ways to use it) but starting this year I've been really learning a lot more and playing with different looks. So, after using a very neutral, rose, and gold shades I wanted a little pop of color. I checked out couple of different choices and stopped on this palette. I purchased it from Sephora for $35.

It comes with a two sided brush - one for blending, other is stapling.

Most of the reviews for it are on a negative side - and that's because in the description it says it is a very pigmented formula and is a professional make up artist choice. I would say their statement is not 100% truth. Some of the shades are pretty pigmented, most of them you have to build up, but I'm gonna talk about that more once I describe them next to the pictures. Soooo let's start!!

First shade (from the top) is Dusty Rose. It is pigmented, matte, and it's amazing to blend into crease to soften up the whole eye look. Next one is Aubergine, a deep dark purple, not so pigmented, has little glitter. Going down, the next one is Anaconda. A light green shade with little, almost unnoticeable glitter. It's not very pigmented and you will have to do several layers to build it up. Then, it is Punch Fuschia, which is a purply pink. This one almost looks matte but it is between being shimmery and having tiny bit of glitter. It's so not pigmented! Same as Anaconda, it will take several layers. Next one is Buttery, a very light shade that is good for highlighting. It is matte and pigmented. The last swatch on this picture is Blue Velvet, which is dark blue color with little glitter. It's not very pigmented but easy to build up.

The first shade is Coal - a good deep black with a little light glitter. This one is pigmented, great for smokey eye. Then, it's Unicorn - not so pigmented, but you can build it up, and it has some glitter too. Next one is Phresh, a yellow shade, which is matte, but very little pigmented. Going down, it's Baby I'm a star, a gorgeous brown shade with lots of glitter. It is one of the most pigmented shades in this palette. Then, it is Orange You Fancy, an orangy copper shade. It is pigmented and shimmery. The last one is called Beigely and it is a silver shimmery, quite pigmented shade.

I decided to make a little table so you can refer to it for a faster information sources:

Granny Takes a Dip, Lush Bath Bomb Review

A new bath bomb I got from Lush is Granny Takes A Dip. It has psychedelic design, which I'm in love with. It has a scent of lemon and ginger oil, also black pepper. It makes the water multicolored, but at the end it turns pink all over. Very pretty. I am so excited to post pictures of it, you guys!!

LUSH ♡

Who doesn't love relaxing bath time? One great thing to better your baths are bath bombs. Great smells, pretty colors, and it's good for your skin too.

I got a couple bath bombs to try out that I would love to share with you~

First one is Tisty Tosty. It has tiny roses in it - so cute! Not surprisingly, it has rose smell. It's good for dry or rough skin. It doesn't give the water much color.

Second one is Space Girl. I love love love it! By far, it is one of my 2 favorites. It has a lot of glitter on it but don't be afraid, when you out it in the water - there's not as much glitter as you would think there would be. I personally don't even like glitter, so I was skeptical, but I actually think it was a perfect amount. It has grape fruit oil in it and blackcurrant candy smell. Also, it makes the water beautiful purple color.

Hope you enjoyed this little review/haul post~

IPSY APRIL 2015

I'm subscribed to this wonderful monthly make up bag service called Ipsy. I think it's a great idea for a great price - you get 5 make up, hair, or nails products for just $10 a month. You can take a test to personalize your little surprises.
This months' bag is so cute. It's in boho style, which is very popular right now. 5/5 for the bag, I like it very much.

First, I got a nail polish. It's a cute spring color. I don't wear pink nail polishes so that's going to my mum. By the way, I have used this brand's eyeliner before, and let me tell you, it is definetly one of the best out there. The nail polish gets 3/5.

Next thing is this cute lip balm. Doesn't have any color when you put it on, smells great, moisturizers. I would give it 3/5.

Now we got eyeshadow. I already have a color like this, actually probably even more than one. Yeah, I am very into neutral eye shadows. The quality is good, I've had theBalm cosmetic products before. This gets 4/5 from me.

The next thing is a hairspray. I have not tried it since I do not use products like this so I cannot say much about it.

Last thing is blush. It is adorable - the packaging, the color. I love it. It stays on long enough, not too pigmented. It gets 4/5.

That's it for April bag! Hope you enjoyed or it was helpful in any way~

Russian Easter and Hiking

This Sunday me, my family, and some of our friends had a little get together at Carderoc park, Maryland. We had good food and went for some exercise. I took some nature pictures I wanted to share~
